Welcome to Chatalbash Lessons! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, located at https://chatalbashlessons.com, and your relationship with Chatalbash Lessons ("we," "us," or "our").

By using our website, you agree to these Terms as they relate to website use. By enrolling in piano lessons, you also agree to the applicable Studio Policies presented during registration.

1. Introductory Lessons and Enrollment
Chatalbash Lessons reserves the right to determine whether a prospective student is a suitable fit for our instructional services. Submitting a request for an introductory lesson does not guarantee acceptance or enrollment.

Decisions regarding enrollment are based on factors such as student readiness, scheduling availability, instructional suitability, and the studio's ability to meet a student's needs, consistent with applicable law.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services when appropriate, subject to our Studio Policies and applicable laws.

2. Studio Policies
All students and, where applicable, their parents or legal guardians must review and agree to our separate Studio Policies before beginning regular paid lessons.

The Studio Policies govern matters including tuition, billing, scheduling, attendance, missed lessons, video exchanges, practice expectations, studio closures, recitals, and discontinuation of lessons.

The Studio Policies are incorporated into the enrollment agreement by reference. If these Terms conflict with the Studio Policies regarding the operation of piano lessons, the Studio Policies will govern, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

3. No Guarantee of Specific Results
Chatalbash Lessons is committed to providing high-quality piano instruction. However, musical development varies from student to student.

Progress depends on several factors, including individual ability, consistent practice, attendance, motivation, and effort outside of scheduled lessons.

We make no guarantees regarding specific results, rates of progress, performance abilities, or musical achievements.

4. Student and Parent Responsibilities
Students are expected to participate respectfully, follow reasonable instructional directions, and comply with the Studio Policies.

For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete enrollment and accept responsibility for the student's compliance with the applicable policies and payment obligations.

Parents or guardians remain responsible for their children's transportation, timely arrival, and pickup. Unless otherwise expressly arranged, Chatalbash Lessons does not provide childcare or supervision outside scheduled lesson times.

Parents and guardians agree to provide accurate contact information and notify the studio of relevant changes.

5. Health and Safety
Students and families agree to follow reasonable health and safety instructions while attending lessons or studio-related activities.

Parents or guardians are responsible for informing Chatalbash Lessons of any relevant medical, accessibility, or safety needs that may affect participation, so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.

Chatalbash Lessons may decline or discontinue a lesson when a student's condition or behavior presents a reasonable health or safety concern, consistent with applicable law and the Studio Policies.

6. Assumption of Ordinary Risks and Limitation of Liability
Participation in piano lessons and studio activities may involve ordinary risks associated with musical instruction and attendance at an instructional facility.

Students and parents or legal guardians acknowledge these ordinary risks and agree to follow reasonable safety instructions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chatalbash Lessons shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or instructional services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for negligence, gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Payments and Enrollment Obligations
Tuition, payment schedules, late fees, attendance requirements, cancellation procedures, and other enrollment obligations are governed by the Studio Policies accepted during registration.

Enrollment may involve recurring automatic payments. The applicable payment amount, billing frequency, cancellation terms, and payment authorization requirements must be presented during enrollment.

All payments, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the Studio Policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Suspension or Termination of Services
Chatalbash Lessons may suspend or discontinue instructional services for reasons including unpaid tuition, repeated policy violations, inappropriate or threatening conduct, or other circumstances that materially interfere with the safe and effective operation of the studio.

Any suspension or termination will be handled in accordance with the Studio Policies, applicable contractual obligations, and applicable law.

Students may discontinue enrollment in accordance with the cancellation and notice provisions of the Studio Policies, subject to applicable law.

9. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All original website content, including written materials, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, designs, and instructional resources, is owned by Chatalbash Lessons or used with appropriate permission, unless otherwise stated.

You may view and use website content for personal, noncommercial informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, or commercially exploit our original content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

10. Privacy and Personal Information
We respect the privacy of students, parents, and website visitors.

Personal information submitted through our website, registration forms, or communications is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

By submitting information, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.

Enrollment-related information may be processed by third-party service providers used for scheduling, billing, communications, or studio administration.

11. Photographs, Videos, and Recordings
Chatalbash Lessons may create or use photographs, videos, and recordings in connection with instruction, student feedback, or studio activities.

Any use of identifiable student photographs, videos, or recordings for public marketing or promotional purposes requires appropriate permission from the student or, for minors, a parent or legal guardian, unless otherwise permitted by law.

Agreement to these Terms does not, by itself, authorize promotional use of a student's image, voice, or likeness.

12. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website and studio operations may use third-party services for registration, scheduling, payment processing, communication, or other administrative functions.

We are not responsible for the independent content, privacy practices, availability, or security of third-party websites or services outside our control.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.

Nothing in this section limits any responsibilities imposed on Chatalbash Lessons by applicable law.

13. Events Beyond Our Control
Neither party shall be responsible for delays or failures to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fires, government restrictions, public health emergencies, widespread utility outages, or similar events.

This provision does not excuse payment obligations already incurred or override any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

The handling of affected lessons, planned studio closures, and alternative instructional arrangements remains subject to the Studio Policies.

14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights or legal remedies available to students or their parents or guardians.

15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced only to the extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Studio Policies accepted during enrollment and any other applicable written enrollment agreements or authorizations, constitute the agreement between Chatalbash Lessons and the enrolling student or responsible parent or legal guardian concerning the matters they address.

These Terms do not replace, modify, or supersede the Studio Policies.

17. Changes to These Terms
Chatalbash Lessons may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The current version will be posted on this website with its updated effective date.

Material changes affecting existing contractual obligations will be communicated as required by applicable law. Where additional consent is legally required, we will seek that consent before the change takes effect.

Continued website use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised website-use provisions to the extent permitted by law. Changes to existing enrollment obligations remain subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
